Special effects is just problem-solving with science. At Firehouse, we’ve developed something of a reputation for solving new, weird and unusual problems. Brought to us by producers, and every department on set at the eleventh hour, we relish the intellectual challenge! Our portfolio includes dominoes, shooting drinks with pool cues, lego avalanches, printers that shoot out ink, washing machines that walk and foam, dinosaurs that burst through walls, and slime that can swallow objects whole! We also craft entertaining effects such as sneezing puppets, tents that tear apart, spinning effects, malfunctioning vending machines, chocolate explosions, polony grandmothers, sentient duvets and much more. These effects are designed to be repeatable with quick reset times, bringing costs down while offering effects that are memorable — and huge fun.
