Firehouse Workshop & Studio Facilities | Rig Testing, Set Construction & Temporary Storage
Need to make indoor rain but the studio you’re using won’t allow it? Firehouse has recently expanded our space used for testing and filming. We have included a permanent flying-rig to reduce prep times, and the space is SFX-Friendly! At Firehouse, you can make fires, pyrotechnics, messy snow setups, mud or even a dust storm indoors. You can smear cake icing on the floor, blow confetti everywhere and shoot paint at the ceiling. Whatever the job, we will get the it done with the highest commitment to safety. We’re always open to discussing custom setups or show and tells at our premises to suit your production's specific needs.
Our space includes workshop areas, studio floors, zones ideal for building and testing rigs, camera set-ups and special effects, stunt rehearsals and actor training, set and prop construction and temporary storage of large-scale builds. Whether you need a place to conduct test days or store and stage oversized rigs between shoot days, we offer a versatile environment, with the in-house special effects, truss, rigging equipment and textiles, needed to support photo shoots, filming and live events.
Our office offers free wifi, coffee, a kitchen and desks to keep production going during long test days. There is gated, safe parking for cars and trucks, and enough yard space for catering tents. Our workshops have three-phase power, a compressed air system and gantry cranes.
