Firehouse Effects offers professional fabrication services for unique and once-off projects both in and out of the film and events industry. By combining precision craftsmanship and engineering with our creative problem-solving and on-set practicality, we are uniquely positioned by our means of production to turn customised concepts into reality. From carpentry and structural framing to TIG and MIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium, we build everything from functional stunt and SFX rigs, to decorative structures, custom gates and builds with intricate moving elements. Our in-house draughting team works closely with our fabricators to build at our workshop or directly on site to meet productions’ individual needs. Our fully-functional workshop can also be rented daily or weekly for limited duration projects with their own teams.
We specialise in fast, flexible builds that balance safety, time and budget constraints while delivering the desired visual impact.
